Winnie is ready to start looking for her forever.
Winnie is a 2-3 year old female Maltese.
Winnie has had a terrible past and is a little distrusting of new people but with understanding people, she soon comes out of her shell and wants so much love.
You can not push this girl too soon, so being patient with her is key.
Winnie can live with other dogs, she is a little bossy at times so tolerant dogs will help well, although she’s built up a beautiful relationship with the group of dogs she lives with in foster and loves to play with the other smaller dogs.
She’s not too bothered by cats but anything new she likes to investigate so dog-savvy cats, please.
Because of Winnie’s distrust and traumatic passed we don’t want to place her with children. We are looking for people with experience with fearful dogs who can continue to help her through that negative experience with people.
Winnie needs continued support with house training so please understand all her needs before you apply!
She will need a home with lots of understanding, kindness and patience. She has so much love to give you when she knows you’re a safe person and she can share love with you.
